The Youth Programs Intern position is ideal for an undergraduate / grad student or professional with interest in working with nonprofits, youth of various ages, event planning, some marketing, recruitment, and more! Desired commitment: 10-15 hours / week (scheduled with volunteer).

At the start of this internship, the intern/volunteer will focus primarily on our annual Teen Volunteer Days of Service (April 21 & 22) project planning/coordination and volunteer recruitment. Intern/volunteer will also be responsible for helping Activate Good bulk up ongoing volunteer opportunities with our nonprofit partners that are suitable for ages as young as 13 without supervision, and relationship building with local schools.

Other duties may be assigned based on the volunteer/intern's skills and schedule. This person should plan to be involved in our Teen Volunteer Days of Service as a designated volunteer leader, as well as help lead other youth volunteer opportunities when available and as needed throughout volunteer / internship period.
