The Communications/Social Media Volunteer position is perfect for someone who wants hands on experience in developing content, driving the communication strategy and creating social media campaigns that create an impact.

In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to:
- help shape the overall Social Media strategy
- provide input/recommendation on new marketing tactics and
- propose & execute successful social media campaign
You will also work closely with the Executive Director and Fundraising/Communications Committee to develop and execute a comprehensive multi-channel strategy to drive positive community awareness, public relations and fundraising activities for Helps Education Fund.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience with Communications/Marketing and Social Media. Driver’s license and access to a vehicle necessary to travel to meetings, volunteer sites to capture volunteers and students in action or other events for social media postings. Graphic arts and video editing experience is a plus, but not required.
Desired commitment: 5-10 hours per week (dates/time are flexible; will schedule with volunteer)
