This activity is part of the 9/11 Day of Service. Volunteers will model positive, supportive behaviors and friendship for up to 86 of our community's special kids at one of the most critical learning stages in their lives.

Sorry, this shift has been filled!
This service project is all about our future -- the kids! Learning Together needs you to show preschool-aged kids what being a loving, supportive adult friend looks like. At Learning Together, classrooms are inclusive, meaning they help children of all different abilities, income levels, and perspectives get ready for kindergarten. Beyond that, their hope is that they also grow up to be the best people they can be. Please join Learning Together as Classroom Buddies and share a day in the life of our children: Sit in circle time, play on the playground, see what inclusion actually looks like, and make wonderful new friends you won't forget!
This proejct can take place indoors if it rains.
There is a lot in the back of our building (off Wynne St.) and overflow parking in the Chavis Park lot directly across the street behind the LT parking lot (Chavis Way). Volunteers will meet at Door A.
