This activity is part of the 9/11 Day of Service. Volunteers will remove weeds and add mulch to beautify the Crime Victim Memorial Garden as a way of supporting crime victims and bringing attention to their needs.

PLEASE NOTE: Work gloves are highly recommended. Shovels, pitch forks and other garden hand tools are optional, but feel free to bring along gardening tools from home. Volunteers will assist with landscaping (primarily weeding & mulching) the Crime Victim Memorial Garden on Lane Street in Raleigh.
This project will continue in light rain; moderate rain or heavy rain/storms may call for the project to be cancelled. Any decision to cancel will occur on Sunday, September 10 and communicated to volunteers via email by that evening.
Street parking is available around the neighborhood.
