We will be stabilizing the side slopes of a large rain garden at Umstead State Park. This may include rock-lining the side slopes and installing an innovative side slope holder to help keep the rocks in place. PLUS planting native muhly grass on the side slopes and weeding, doing some weeding and maintenance in the butterfly gardens, and planting 2 large dog wood trees in the medians of the parking lot.
The volunteer group leader should complete this project waiver for all volunteers prior to the project and bring the completed document with them: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7s0GapGTzRAVmswWkQ3d293b19pRXdvYWJwTF9sVEJSVFI4/view
