This opportunity is part of Activate Good's annual 9/11 Day of Service and has been adopted by Duke Hospital Auxiliary!

Volunteers will help cleanup a park with the East Durham Children's Initiative. Cleaning up this local park that is used by neighborhood families will make it beautiful and safe for their use!

Note: There is no waiver to complete for this project in advance.

Rain Plan

If there is a need for cancellation due to rain, the call will be made the morning of the project by 10am via email.

Parking Info

Meet at EDCI's offices: 2101 Angier Avenue. The front of the building has white columns. Parking is accessible via Ashe Street in the back of the building (parking lot or street). Briefly meet at the office by entering through the back doors near parking lot facing Ashe Street. Come upstairs and ask for Lauren Stephenson who will walk you to the park to meet with the cleanup leader!
