We have multiple opportunities to help that can be mostly done from home.Some may need to be done outside of the home, but not at the barn. You may sometimes work with others, sometimes might be alone.
The Arc of the Triangle advocates and provides purposeful activities for individuals with I/DD (intellectual and developmental disabilities.) We are currently looking for volunteers with our Community Connections Partner Program - make a difference, make a friend.
The Arc of the Triangle has two garden beds at the HOPE Community Gardens where we grow food for our cooking class and flowers for our Petals with a Purpose program.
Petals with a Purpose is a weekly program with people with and without disabilities. The program uses items destined for the landfill like soup cans, water and glass bottles and they are turned into flower vases.
Looking for 30 people to set up, stock, and clean up a water station! A great way to help as an individual or as a group. Girls on the Run is a beneficiary of Bull City Race Fest and receives funding for every volunteer who works at our water station!
