Serve patients in our lab by serving as a volunteer phlebotomist/lab technician
As a Stocking/Sorting Volunteer, you will be responsible for making sure the Food Pantry is always organized and easy to navigate. This position will involve sorting through donations that have been dropped off as well.
Primarily assist Caring Community staff in working with interpretation of phone calls from Spanish-speakers seeking emergency financial assistance; occasional document translation. We may also have the occasional need for a Spanish-language meeting or presentation.

Assist survivors of domestic and interpersonal violence by responding to calls on our 24-hour hotline and meet with survivors in our office to provide crisis intervention, emotional support, court advocacy and referrals to community resources.
Make a difference in the life of an aging person or someone with a disability by weekly visits, providing transportation to medical facilities and the grocery store, or helping with light chores around the house. Great way for children to help someone feel special.
The Front Desk Helper serves as a valued team member who participates in completing daily task that help Women's Birth and Wellness Center.
Volunteers 12 years and over will cut rectangles and 1" strips around the perimeter of the rectangles.
Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Our nonprofit takes much pride in our Comfort Cooks program where we bring home cooked meals to the families in the Pediatric Bone Marrow Unit at Duke Hospital and PICU at UNC Hospital. We do so twice a month, usually on the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the month.
