Looking for an individual to post articles/events on our Facebook page 4-6 times per week. Posted information needs to be relevant to persons with autism and/or intellectual disabilities and their families. This is a virtual opportunity and does not require in-person meetings.
Assist with Tuesday night horse back riding lessons for individuals with various disabilities. Lessons are Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
Volunteer as a side-walker to assist horse back riders with various disabilities complete their weekly lesson.
Make a difference in the life of an aging person or someone with a disability by weekly visits, providing transportation to medical facilities and the grocery store, or helping with light chores around the house. Great way for children to help someone feel special.
Receive donations, assist with moving furniture out on to the sales floor, help customers load heavier/larger purchases as needed.
NCTRC needs weekly volunteers to work in therapeutic riding lessons as leaders or sidewalkers. Come work with children and horses in a fun, encouraging environment!
If you can read this, you can help share the gift of literacy with an adult learner! Each tutor meets with a student for 90 minutes twice weekly for 6 months or longer. Training is provided. No prior experience needed.
