The Arc of the Triangle advocates and provides purposeful activities for individuals with I/DD (intellectual and developmental disabilities.) We are currently looking for volunteers with our Community Connections Partner Program - make a difference, make a friend.
The Arc of the Triangle has two garden beds at the HOPE Community Gardens where we grow food for our cooking class and flowers for our Petals with a Purpose program.
Petals with a Purpose is a weekly program with people with and without disabilities. The program uses items destined for the landfill like soup cans, water and glass bottles and they are turned into flower vases.
Make a difference in the life of an aging person or someone with a disability by weekly visits, providing transportation to medical facilities and the grocery store, or helping with light chores around the house. Great way for children to help someone feel special.
We are searching for 10 Individuals that can assist with our "One Magical Christmas" dinner theater that will be held on Thursday, November 2nd in Raleigh. Assistance will be needed from Noon-9:00 pm. Volunteers are asked to assist for 2 hours or more.
