Community HOPE is a mentor/literacy program with the Alexander Family YMCA. Community HOPE isn't just a tutoring program. It's a relationship – a bond between mentor and child.
We have filled our slots for our 2nd session of Readers as Leaders! The session runs Feb/March to June 2016. In the meantime, contact email@example.com for other volunteer opportunities DPFC has to offer.
JA will provide you with a step-by-step guidebook of lesson plans and all the student activity materials you need to lead the students through fun, hands-on activities centered on one of JA’s many free enterprise themed programs.

If you would like to make a positive difference in your community & are interested in tutoring court-involved or at-risk youth, our Juvenile Literacy Center is a good fit for you! The program serves students ages 6-17 who are referred to us by Juvenile Court or another youth-serving agency.
Help the Shore with their PNC Arena Partnership which provides funding that allows us to provide grief support for kids, teens, and adults.
We are looking for volunteer mentors for 1st and 2nd year college students to start August 2016.

Community Educators are the face of Compass Center and play an integral role in Compass Center’s success in prevention work. Community educators facilitate presentations, workshops, and trainings that educate the community about domestic violence and Compass Center services.
We are looking for community volunteers who are interested in being part of our elective type school program. There are 5 sessions which run 5-6 weeks each. Past classes have included cooking, Quidditch, coding, stop motion animation, etc. We are looking for volunteers to help out or lead a class!
