Looking for someone to serve as the volunteer coordinator
Volunteers will be assembling school kits to be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Eastern NC and Tier 1 schools.
Receive donations, assist with moving furniture out on to the sales floor, help customers load heavier/larger purchases as needed.
Unpack donations and sort items into appropriate bins based on type. Inspect items for quality.
The Youth Programs Intern position is ideal for an undergraduate / grad student or professional with interest in working with nonprofits, youth of various ages, event planning, some marketing, recruitment, and more! Desired commitment: 10-15 hours / week (scheduled with volunteer).
Activate Good is seeking a marketing and social media volunteer/intern who wants hands on experience conducting social media, creating content, and more! Desired commitment: 5-10 hours / week (scheduled with volunteer) throughout the Spring (approximately January - May).
Occasional help needed with fliers, social media graphics, brochures, race posters/t-shirt design, annual reports, etc.
We are looking to improve communication with our supporters by scheduling more regular newsletters to be emailed to our database
Tutors meet one-on-one with a student every week to enhance the student’s academic skills and promote productive academic habits. Providing help with homework and assisting with test preparation, tutors encourage student to become independent learners.
