A Helping Hand
The Volunteer Companion Driver:
Without transportation older adults and those with disabilities lose their independence and are denied access to vital services, such as getting to and from medical appointments and the grocery store.
Assist Families Moving Forward staff with Triangle Food Truck deliveries made to the agency.
We have long-term needs for help with cleaning tack, feeding and grooming our horses, maintaining the grounds, repairing any broken items, etc.,
DTM Foundation needs a new social media volunteer who will keep our social media platforms up to date and informative for the public!
Be an Everyday Hero! Greet donors and provide a snack and beverage after donation. Each blood donation saves up to 3 lives!
The Hope Center at Pullen runs an internship program that places youth aging out of foster care in paid positions at area nonprofits.
The Arc of the Triangle advocates and provides purposeful activities for individuals with I/DD (intellectual and developmental disabilities.) We are currently looking for volunteers with our Community Connections Partner Program - make a difference, make a friend.
The Arc of the Triangle has two garden beds at the HOPE Community Gardens where we grow food for our cooking class and flowers for our Petals with a Purpose program.
Petals with a Purpose is a weekly program with people with and without disabilities. The program uses items destined for the landfill like soup cans, water and glass bottles and they are turned into flower vases.
Are you passionate about empowering youth? Y.O.U.T.H. CHARGE is a program where DTM Foundation is empowering youth to serve families with hospitalized children at Duke and UNC Hospitals in unique ways and we need a team leader to help develop the program!
