Frontline Families: Engaging Service Members and Military Families in Volunteer Leadership

Activate Good is excited to join other organizations across the country in participating in Frontline Families, an AmeriCorps program implemented by Points of Light, to engage service members, veterans and their families in volunteer leader training. About Frontline Families Frontline Families is a military and veteran reintegration program that inspires Military Families to serve on the frontline of their communities to address the most pressing challenges in our country. Frontline Family Corps Members will train Military Families as volunteer leaders and conduct community service projects to address pressing community needs and recruit and retain volunteer leaders. At the same time, the program supports the successful reintegration of military families by serving as the bridge that will connect the military with the community through civic engagement and improve the physical and mental well-being of the MilVet population through social and physical activities.
