It’s National Volunteer Week! Now Through April 14: Donate Clothing for Kids at b.good!

On April 1, 2015, our friends at North Hills restaurant, b.good, kicked off a two week campaign to help kids in need. Folks can stop in now through April 14, 2015, and donate clothing and shoes to be distributed to impoverished and homeless children in Wake County through Note in the Pocket, one of our amazing Triangle nonprofit partners. This is a great way to gear up for National Volunteer Week in the Triangle! Drop off a Donation at b.good Want to help out? Note in the Pocket can accept new and gently used shoes and clothing of all sizes. Top needs right now include: GIRLS: Size 7 long sleeve shirts and pants, Size 16 all pants and tops BOYS: Sizes 5 through 14 regular pants, Sizes 8 through 14 long sleeve shirts Always Needed: Women’s tops sizes 14 and up, Children’s tennis shoes sizes 1 – 4, packs of new socks and underwear of all sizes Volunteer During National Volunteer Week As part of National Volunteer Week, on Tuesday, April 14, you can also come in to b.good and volunteer to help write the notes of encouragement that will accompany every clothing donation. As an added treat, anyone who donates clothing items is eligible for a free b.good Carrot Cake Smoothie through April 14.
