Signature Project: Community Mural
A collaboration between Activate Good and the Raleigh Murals Project and sponsored by PNC Bank, the Community Mural Project will bring together over 100 community members as volunteers to paint a large-scale, vibrant mural at 19 E. Martin Street in Downtown Raleigh.
The project combines volunteerism and art to build community and bring people together across differences by engaging them in a fun project, the results of which they can enjoy and feel a sense of ownership over for years to come.
The Community Mural Project design showcases the work of professional local artists Okirah Harris and Grayson Howell of OG Designs and Creations. Okirah and Grayson will work alongside community volunteers in September to complete the work.
Due to limited space and supplies, community members interested in volunteering must sign up for their shift on the Activate Good website.
