About Jeffersonian Dinners
You are invited to join us for a tradition started by Thomas Jefferson at Monticello that inspires conversation and connection: A Jeffersonian Dinner. Imagine being invited to a dinner in 1819 at Monticello, the elegant Virginia home of Thomas Jefferson—president, scientist, farmer, connoisseur, scholar, and author of the Declaration of Independence. Around his table, you’d encounter some of the leading spirits of the age—men and women steeped in politics, literature, the arts, the sciences, theology, and history—all of whom were engaged citizens, eager to share and debate ideas that would shape the future of their young nation.
At Good Together, locals from a variety of backgrounds will gather to dine and discuss: How can we shape the future of the Triangle? How can everyday people rise up and tackle our community’s biggest issues through service and compassion?
All funds raised support Activate Good‘s efforts to activate volunteers to help over 400 charitable causes in our local community. Learn more about Activate Good and our programs.
