This opportunity has passed.

This workshop is an effort between Wake County Public School system and Project CATCH (Community action targeting children who are homeless) to better and further educate parents of children living in homeless or transitional housing situations. Participates will be able to attend workshops on different topics such as Common Core Curriculum or Summer Camp options while their children are supervised in the galleries at Marbles Kids Museum by our fantastic volunteers, YOU!

Please plan to arrive by 5:15 pm to assist with set up, and plan to be available at 5:30 for an orientation. At this time we will break all the volunteers up into groups and give you a list of the children you will be chaperoning. The kids will be stickered ahead of time by age group and we’ll have approx. an hour to play in the galleries. There will be a Marbles staff member in charge of each age grouping and they will give you more information on the night of the event and will be with you throughout the night.

We have days scheduled from September through May and hope you will join us for one or all of the evenings:

Thursday, September 10: 5:15pm-8:15pm
Thursday, October 1: 5:15pm-8:15pm
