What You'll Do:Make a difference in the life of an aging person or someone with a disability by weekly visits, providing transportation to medical facilities and the grocery store, or helping with light chores around the house. Great way for children to help someone feel special.
Must be 18 years or older, or 0 years or older with parental supervision
The Center for Volunteer Caregiving offers two options to complete our Volunteer Orientation. You may complete the Orientation online, or in a group-live session.
Details:The Center for Volunteer Caregiving invites you to become a YEAR ROUND VOLUNTEER by attending an orientation to help Wake County seniors, adults with disabilities and family caregivers. We provide weekly or monthly services through three core programs: the Transportation Program, the Caregiver Support Program, and the In-Home Connections Program. It's easy to volunteer in your community and on your schedule.
This means there are a large variety of activities to volunteer for on a weekly, bimonthly, or monthly basis. The need is great and we need your help. Register for volunteer orientations by visiting www.VolunteerCaregiving.org or call The Center at 919 460 0567
Group Volunteer Orientations are offered over lunch or in the evening. View our calendar for dates or take the online orientation when you are ready to take the next step in volunteering.
