Details:At PNC Arena, we are assigned a stand and we "work" various events. We have a team of 3-6 volunteers together to serve beer, soft drinks, popcorn, hot dogs, and peanuts. We ring up the sales as well as prepare the stand for the event. Very easy and fun once you get the hang of it. We have fun dancing to the music, cheering on the local teams and learning more about each other during the down times.
Time commitment: 4-6 hours at each event.
These are Hurricane games, NCSU basketball games, concerts (yes, we can hear everything!), children events, and more. We'd like folks who can volunteer for the entire season Sept - April 2016-17. Days and times vary but mostly we volunteer during evening hours. We have both weekdays and weekends - you can share your preference.
A uniform is required: plain black slacks, long sleeve black polo-type shirt, and all black shoes (closed toe and heel). The Shore provides a Shore cap and apron which completes the uniform.
If you're 21 or over, you can help us by pouring beer. An easy training at PNC is required for this.
Parking Info:Free parking - details will follow.
