Details:This opportunity is for any time from 4 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, from 6:30 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Fridays, and from 12:30 till 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Many of these tasks can be done at any time of the day so if mornings don't work for you then let us know the times that do work. Let us know what you are interested in helping with and when you are available.
We are a horse barn and with it comes all the daily duties that need to be done with and for the horses. This happens for the most part no matter what the weather.
Feeders: We need feeders in the early morning hours (7:30-9:00), evening hours (6:30-8:30), 7 days a week. Teams are good as long as one person is an adult. This is year-round and multiple people can be used.
Groomers: can be anyone 8 years or older (with supervision), and it involves grooming the horses (brushing, combing, cleaning the hooves etc.,) We have miniature horses, ponies, and full-size horses. This is year-round and multiple people can be used.
Grounds: We have the need for poop-scoopers and all-around help maintaining the grounds. Mowing, clearing the trails, etc are all daily/weekly chores that need to be done. There are some chores that are more as-needed such as roof repairs, fence repairs and such. This is year-round and multiple people can be used.
Rain Plan:All activities are cancelled except for feeding the horses when it rains.
