What You'll Do:The Walk to Defeat ALS® is thousands of people including those living with ALS, their caregivers, family, friends, and corporations across NC joining together to raise funds in support of patient services, programs and nationally driven cutting-edge research.

The Triangle Walk to Defeat ALS® is made possible by the passion and dedication of volunteers. Opportunities for Walk Day include: Set-up, Registration, Distributing T-Shirts, Handing out Water & Snacks, Greeting Participants, Clean-up, Cheering, and much more! Many opportunities are perfect for groups and we are happy to verify volunteer service hours.
There will be water, coffee, and a light breakfast provided for volunteers. You will also receive a Walk to Defeat ALS® Volunteer T-shirt. If you have any questions, please contact Avery Goldman at email@example.com or (919)390-0121. We look forward to seeing you on April 20!

NOTE: Ages 12-17 will be oriented by the ALS Association North Carolina Chapter and managed by an adult Chapter volunteer or staff person; additional adult supervisor / chaperone not required. Teens will be matched with age-appropriate volunteer tasks (E.g. T-shirt distribution, kids area, sign creation, cheerleading, etc.).
Rain Plan:The Walk to Defeat ALS® is a rain or shine event. Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing as NC weather is always a little unpredictable!
