This project is part of Activate Good's Annual 9/11 Day of Service and has been adopted by Franklin Academy!
Volunteers will remove trash from shoreline of Jordan Lake. Cleanup will last about 3 hours. Bags, gloves, trash grabbers provided along with Clean Jordan Lake leader and boat support to haul trash away.
By removing trash along 1/2 mile of shoreline, volunteers will restore natural beauty for enjoyment of everyone, restore wildlife habitats and prevent injury/death to wildlife.

This project will continue in light rain; moderate rain or heavy rain/storms may call for the project to be cancelled. Any decision to cancel will occur on Sunday, September 10 and communicated to volunteers via email by that evening.
Location is accessed from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers gate off Pea Ridge Rd.
