What You'll Do:Community Partnerships, Inc. is actively recruiting for new members to serve on our Finance Committee, a sub-committee of the Board of Directors. CPI provides direct services to people with developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders.

Details:The Finance Committee supports the work of Community Partnerships, Inc. and provides mission-based leadership and strategic consultation. While day-to-day operations are led by the agency’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Board-CEO-CFO relationship is a partnership, and the appropriate involvement of the Finance Committee is both critical and expected. The Finance Committee is chaired by the Treasurer of the board and has additional members appointed by the Board President, which may include non-Board community members.
Specific responsibilities include:
--Proposing a budget for approval of the Board each fiscal year.
--Reviewing the agency's financial statements.
--Considering needed budget revisions.
--Addressing potential cash flow issues.
--Proposing needed policies and procedures related to the agency's fiscal operations.
--Acting as liaison to the agency's independent auditor.

Anticipated Volunteer Hours: The Finance Committee meets on an as-needed basis (typically quarterly).
We welcome all individuals who are passionate about CPI's mission. Based on the agency's current needs, we are also specifically seeking individuals with a strong fiscal background. CPAs are preferred.
