Cut, split and deliver donated firewood to low-income residents of Wake County.

We have 2 work sites: East Raleigh and North Raleigh. You may choose to work at whichever site is more convenient for you. Address will be provided in a separate email when you sign up to volunteer.

Work sessions are held on Saturday mornings from 8:30am until noon (weather permitting).

Qualifications include the physical ability to work outdoors in low temperatures and repeatedly lift 20 lbs.

Special Requirements: A pickup truck or utility trailer is helpful, but not required. General knowledge of the Wake County geography is also helpful.
