What You'll Do:

Providing childcare and/or transportation to families who have recently transitioned out of Families Moving Forward shelter into stable housing to attend workshops/programming

Details:

Families Moving Forward (FMF) is an emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness in Durham, NC. FMF is beginning to provide workshops and programming for adults that have recently transitioned out of shelter into the Branching Out program, to provide additional resources and support. We need volunteers who can help us develop these programs by providing transportation to attendees and providing childcare during the workshops.

The goal is to have a workshop scheduled every week, most likely on Thursday evenings.

We are still securing an off-site location to host workshops. We have thought about using office space in Northgate Mall. We will follow up with more instructions/information.
