What You'll Do:

1-2 regular days per week for 4-6 hours total per week COORDINATE GIFT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT PROCESS PROVIDE OFFICE SUPPORT

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Associate’s or bachelor’s degree 2+ years office experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office program suite Knowledge of any CRM database a plus Experience in nonprofit organization or in fund development a plus K

Details:

COORDINATE GIFT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT PROCESS
a.Data processing along with clear communication and responsiveness to Operations Manager and Development Team to keep process running efficiently
b.Update and edit thank you templates seasonally as needed c.Generate timely letters and other recognitions; manage mailing process and recording for all correspondence with donors

PROVIDE SPECIFIC PROGRAM & EVENT SUPPORT
a. Assist with Teen Board administrative and organizational needs
b. Assist with 5K administrative and organizational needs
c.Participate in event support set-up and break-down as needed

PROVIDE LGL SUPPORT AND PROCESS ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS ASSOCIATED WITH DONORS AND FUNDERS
a.Maintain records and relevant tracking on donors, prospects and grantors.
B.Research and create prospect profiles using the database import form to ensure high-quality data input and provide to the Database Manager
c.Print correspondence, appeal and acquisition letters, utilizing Word mail merge and Excel
d.Assist with proofreading, editing, and production of donor communication materials and grant applications
e.Generally, support Note in the Pocket’s philanthropy plan to identify, earn, retain, and motivate donors to support the organization’s mission

PROVIDE OFFICE SUPPORT
a.Maintain cultivation calendar and tracking spreadsheet
b.Prepare development packets
c.Assist with grant and prospect research to help qualify prospective individuals, and other prospecting
d.Make Thank you calls to donors

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Associate’s or bachelor’s degree 2+ years office experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office program suite Knowledge of any CRM database a plus Experience in nonprofit organization or in fund development a plus KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy Learn quickly, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills Collaborate well with other team members and ability to work independently Personal qualities of integrity and professionalism
