The United Way of the Greater Triangle is sponsoring a Literacy and Winter Kit service project hosted at Duke Energy Center in Downtown Raleigh (2 E. South St, Raleigh, NC 27601) on MLK Day. Our mission "to eradicate poverty and increase social mobility through the power of partnerships" calls for us support those who are addressing the needs of those effected most in our communities and continue to provide opportunities for networks to be involved. Volunteers are essential to this event. There is no experience or training necessary! Join us with a spirit of giving as we prepare 1,000 kits and write encouraging notes of hope to those who need it most.
