Details:

Do you love meeting new people? Are you good at motivating groups and keeping them on task? Would you enjoy guiding people through a fun and easy volunteer exercise that ultimately both brings great satisfaction to your group, but also prepares clothing for local students in need?

If you are an energetic and organized self-starter who answered "YES" to these questions, leading one of our groups of corporate and civic volunteers may be right up your alley! Learn to co-lead small groups of volunteers for one or two 2-hour shifts on week nights from 6-8pm. You will be supervising volunteers in sorting, recycling, weighing, and folding clothing donations.

Note in the Pocket is a 501c3 organization providing clothing to homeless and impoverished schoolchildren in Wake County. To meet our goal to clothe 5000 in 2020, we are expanding our Volunteer Center hours in an effort to keep pace with our rapidly growing clothing donations (200,000 pounds in 2019) and to allow us to expand the number of individuals and volunteer groups we can accommodate (volunteers logged over 15,000 hours in 2019).
