TEENS + PARENTS: Garden Work Day at Alliance Medical Ministry

What You'll Do:

Come dig in the garden! Help Alliance Medical Ministry with planting, weeding, mulching, and creative projects in the Alliance Community Garden.


Must be 18 years or older, or 13 years or older with parental supervision

Additional Requirements:

All volunteers must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Part of the Event:



Vegetables grown in our community go directly to feed the patients that visit the Alliance Clinic. Your contribution is huge. Come out and help us plant, weed, harvest, and tend to the many wonderful, nourishing plants in our garden and learn more about the Alliance Mission. 

Please wear a mask, bring a REFILLABLE water bottle, closed toed shoes, clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Please note that we have bee hives on site at the garden.

All volunteers ages 14-17 need to have a guardian/parent with them and will need to complete a waiver in advance.

If there is inclement weather, this project will be cancelled, and you will be notified via email early that morning.

Parking Info:

We have a large parking lot located to the east of our facility off Donald Ross Drive. Our facility is housed in an old church building with a steeple. The garden is visible on the South-East corner of Donald Ross and New Bern Avenue!
