Retail Resource Coordinator - Volunteer

Note in the Pocket

What You'll Do:

Note in the Pocket seeks an outgoing and organized volunteer to help us build relationships with local and national clothing & shoe retail stores. Most retailers have programs where they donate their overstock to non-profits and we would love to be a recipient organization.

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Retail Resource Coordinator will help raise awareness of Note in the Pocket's mission in order to enlist retail businesses to support our agency through donations and volunteer activities. The Retail Resources Coordinator is primarily responsible for building a network of retail contacts and resources, speaking with and building relationships with store managers, and coordinating donations from that store. Background in retail would be ideal. Excellent communication skills (in person and via email) are expected. You can donate as much or as little time per week as your schedule allows.

We will hold brief interviews (via zoom or in-person) and choose the best person for the position.

Impact Statement:

Note in the Pocket's mission: To Clothe Children with Dignity and Love. We believe it is unacceptable that children are limited in their educational and social development because they lack school-appropriate clothes. Our goal: to clothe 6,000 in 2021!
