Diaper Train Program - Mobile

Saint Saviour's Center

What You'll Do:

Join the Diaper Train as we take our distribution mobile! We will be providing diapers and wipes to community members at the YMCA. This helps reduce transportation barriers and educate new community members of the support available to them, if they need.

Appropriate for group service projects

Appropriate for court-ordered service

Must be 18 years or older, or 13 years or older with parental supervision

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Diaper Train! As Wake County's only Diaper Bank, we provide infant hygiene products directly to low-income community families who are experiencing diaper insecurity.

This event is taking place within the community and away from Saint Saviour's Center. Here are a few items to review prior to your arrival, as well as an outline of what to expect during your time with your Diaper Train Mobile Shift!

- Shift Overview: What to Expect -

Clients will visit the Southeast Raleigh YMCA for curbside Food Distribution service during program hours (10am - 12:00pm). Clients who are also in need of diapers will then visit the Mobile Diaper Train distribution. Your shift will involve greeting our clients as they arrive, collecting their information (name, phone number, child DOB, and diaper size needed), and transferring this information to our Attendants who will help distribute the diapers.

This site expects 90% of all visitors to be new to the Diaper Train, so you're ultimately establishing new connections to community members who may not be aware that they have support if they are facing diaper insecurity.

NEW VOLUNTEERS: Please ensure you've completed the Volunteer Application prior to signing up for a shift.
New Volunteers will receive a confirmation email after signing up for a shift. All needed training will take place during the first portion of your shift.
Masks and gloves are available to all volunteers. However, we encourage you to bring your own!
