Each year, over 1,600 people of all ages join in a fun-filled day to increase awareness, build community, and raise the necessary money to support people with Down syndrome. This year’s Triangle Buddy Walk will take place on Sunday, October 24th at Panther Creek High School, Cary, NC. It will feature a play area with bounce houses, arts & crafts tents, games, vendor booths and more!

The Buddy Walk has over 80 volunteer opportunities listed. Please head to our Volunteer sign up page for more information.

*Due to the Covid-19 pandemic NCDSA is requiring that all volunteers show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test within 24 hours of volunteer shifts for any volunteers that will be in close contact with others where 6 feet of distancing is not possible.

Impact Statement:

One great way to give to our community is through volunteering. Life improves when you can give something meaningful to others; it enhances your personal identity, aids to your self-confidence, and provides you with a sense of pride.
