The Arc of the Triangle has two garden beds at the HOPE Community Gardens where we grow food for our cooking class and flowers for our Petals with a Purpose program.
Your work at the Habitat ReStore helps fund homes being built through the Orange and Durham county Habitat affiliates. It is through the help of volunteers that we are able to make such a positive impact in our communities!
We are seeking individuals or groups to collect hygiene products by hosting a hygiene drive at work, school, church, with neighbors, or another group.
Come Dig in Our Garden! Every 2nd Saturday (9:30a-12pm) and 4th Wednesday (5:30-7pm) From April - October. Work on planting, weedng, mulching, and creative projects in the Alliance Community Garden.
The community benefits greatly from The Family Store (Monday-Saturday, 9:00AM-5:00PM). Donations are sold at a very low price, allowing families who may not be able to shop elsewhere to purchase affordable, good quality clothing.
Every Friday (7:30AM-11:30AM), volunteers are welcome to come to The Salvation Army to help serve/give away free food that has been donated by a generous community partner. Frozen meats, canned goods, pet food, and more are given out.
The LGBT Center of Raleigh has many different volunteer needs. From general staffing to assisting with special projects and events, our volunteers are crucial to achieving our mission of being a volunteer driven community center. Come be a part of a welcoming and connected family!
Special Blessings is searching for Volunteers that are available for its "One Magical Christmas" event. This event will be held: Thursday, November 8th at the Elk's Lodge in Raleigh. Volunteers are needed For: Set-up, Break down & Serve. Shifts are from: 12:30-4:30 pm, 4:30-8:30 pm, 7:30-10:30 pm
