The community benefits greatly from The Family Store (Monday-Saturday, 9:00AM-5:00PM). Donations are sold at a very low price, allowing families who may not be able to shop elsewhere to purchase affordable, good quality clothing.
Every Friday (7:30AM-11:30AM), volunteers are welcome to come to The Salvation Army to help serve/give away free food that has been donated by a generous community partner. Frozen meats, canned goods, pet food, and more are given out.
The LGBT Center of Raleigh has many different volunteer needs. From general staffing to assisting with special projects and events, our volunteers are crucial to achieving our mission of being a volunteer driven community center. Come be a part of a welcoming and connected family!
Every Friday (7:30AM-11:30AM), volunteers are welcome to come to The Salvation Army to help serve/give away free food that has been donated by a generous community partner. Volunteers assist with setup, helping clients select foods, restocking, and cleanup.
Cut, split and deliver donated firewood to low-income residents of Wake County.

Help us provide protein for the Hungry by sorting and repackaging eggs to be distributed out in the community through our Mobile Markets and community partnerships. Volunteers will be trained on how to properly clean, examine, and prepare for egg distribution for our food hunger initiatives.
Help us recover food from our routes! Accompany a Food Shuttle driver on a truck route to recover food. This food will then get distributed to several community partner agencies.
