Court-Ordered Service

The following volunteer opportunities have been listed as appropriate for court-ordered community service.
Come dig in our garden! Every 2nd Saturday (9:30a-12pm) and 4th Wednesday (5:30-7pm) From April - October. Work on planting, weeding, mulching, and creative projects in the Alliance Community Garden.
Come help families shop and meal plan for the week. Provide guidance and friendship to those looking for healthy, nutritious food when resources are scarce.
Become Backpack Buddies Packers! Volunteer groups will help pack several bags contained with 6 balance meals and 2 snacks for elementary school age children.
We will be working on trail rerouting and trail restoration at William B. Umstead State Park.
Please help at our community farm this weekend! We have lots of baby seedlings, flowers, herbs and lavender that need to be planted to keep them from alive and healthy. All ages welcome. Come for a few minutes or a couple hours.
Ongoing community service opportunity which consists of trash collection and clean up along Hillsborough Street and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Join us on the farm helping to organize garden sheds, plants, and wood piles. It's easy but a huge help!

Need Community Service hours for school, church or fun? Join us at the new Community Educational farm and help transform dirt into beautiful gardens!
In March 2019, we were blown away by more runners/walkers, and volunteers that showed up than ever before! Because of this, we were able to raise enough money to provide clean drinking water to at least 20 villages which are now being benefitted by thousands of Indians!

Volunteer with us and assist our riders with their weekly horseback riding lessons at our North Raleigh farm.
