The following volunteer opportunities have been listed as appropriate for groups of volunteers who want to work together.

The community benefits greatly from The Family Store (Monday-Saturday, 9:00AM-5:00PM). Donations are sold at a very low price, allowing families who may not be able to shop elsewhere to purchase affordable, good quality clothing.
Every Friday (7:30AM-11:30AM), volunteers are welcome to come to The Salvation Army to help serve/give away free food that has been donated by a generous community partner. Frozen meats, canned goods, pet food, and more are given out.

Courage Cards are something you can do by yourself or with a group. Materials needed can be simple (paper/crayons) or more elaborate (card stock/stickers/stamps/etc.) depending on what you'd like to do. All cards will be going to kids that are inpatient at Duke and UNC Children's Hospitals.

This group volunteer opportunity involves packing and delivering bags of produce to local low income senior living housing. This volunteer activity operates every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Saturday of the month; starting between 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.
