Group Volunteer Opportunities

The following volunteer opportunities have been listed as appropriate for groups of volunteers who want to work together.
Music mentos work with our youth(beginners, intermediate, and advanced) one on one or in small groups to build various musical proficiencies and confidence on their instrument.
Culture bearers volunteer to share their knowledge of African diasporic musical practices and/or traditions with youth in our programs during scheduled BUMP Village Days or during Global Griot Summer Music Retreat.

Volunteer to Possible Full-time A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization who is committed to assisting youth to transition from foster care to independent adults. ATNI is seeking a Personal Assistant who will be responsible for providing support to the Executive Director.
BUMP is seeking Spanish Translators who can accurately and effectively translate documents (Flyers, letters, etc.) from English into Spanish.
We are looking for individuals, groups, and organizations that are able to donate meals to the Helen Wright Center. Meal donors are responsible for purchasing the food, preparing the meal in their own home/facility, and bringing to the food to the Center to the 20 women we house.
Help sort donations that will be used by the TROSA program or sold in the thrift store in order to support the program. TROSA is a residential treatment center for people with substance use disorders, and you will volunteer alongside people in the program.
Cut, split and deliver donated firewood to low-income residents of Wake County.
BackPack Buddies is designed to provide children experiencing food insecurity with nutritious, kid-friendly, meals for the weekend—when they don't have access to a school’s free meals. School Pantries serve students and their families at a safe and easy-to-access point in their communities.
During this critical time, food donations are needed more than ever. Food and fund drives form the foundation of the Food Shuttle’s resources to provide for critical programs working to end hunger in central North Carolina.
Grocery Bags for Seniors supplements the fixed income of our older community members through door-to door distribution of fresh produce and groceries.
Join our Board of Directors- We are starting a new Farm Project- It's an Egg Cooperative! Local families will get to share in fresh eggs and share in the care of free ranging happy hens.
