Group Volunteer Opportunities

The following volunteer opportunities have been listed as appropriate for groups of volunteers who want to work together.
Volunteers will teach one of JA's Entrepreneurship programs. Students learn about traits of a successful entrepreneur, resources used in starting a business, profit and loss, problem solving, interdependence and specialization.
Share your knowledge of the English language and American culture while simultaneously building relationships with newly arrived refugees of different cultures and background.
Communities In Schools of Durham is looking for summer volunteers! Every summer, CIS hosts summer programs at E.K. Powe, Eno Valley, and Merrick-Moore Elementary Schools in Durham.
Join Artspace on the First Friday of the month for the downtown Raleigh Art Walk! Help us provide food and beverages to the many guests that pass through on this lively and energetic evening! Two shifts available for either bartending or food table service. 5:45 - 8:15 or 8:00 - 10:30
Need Community Service hours for school, church or fun? Join us at the new Community Educational farm and help transform dirt into beautiful gardens!
Join us on the farm helping to organize garden sheds, plants, and wood piles. It's easy but a huge help!
Please help at our community farm this weekend! We have lots of baby seedlings, flowers, herbs and lavender that need to be planted to keep them from alive and healthy. All ages welcome. Come for a few minutes or a couple hours.
Help children and adults with disabilities learn to ride in our Therapeutic Riding classes, or accomplish physical therapy goals in our Hippotherapy classes. We serve approx 70 clients per week, and need volunteers with and without horse experience!
Come help families shop and meal plan for the week. Provide guidance and friendship to those looking for healthy, nutritious food when resources are scarce.
