A Helping Hand The Volunteer Companion Driver: Without transportation older adults and those with disabilities lose their independence and are denied access to vital services, such as getting to and from medical appointments and the grocery store.

The Arc of the Triangle advocates and provides purposeful activities for individuals with I/DD (intellectual and developmental disabilities.) We are currently looking for volunteers with our Community Connections Partner Program - make a difference, make a friend.
Petals with a Purpose is a weekly program with people with and without disabilities. The program uses items destined for the landfill like soup cans, water and glass bottles and they are turned into flower vases.
The Arc of the Triangle has two garden beds at the HOPE Community Gardens where we grow food for our cooking class and flowers for our Petals with a Purpose program.
Grace Notes is a choir group consisting of 20 adult singers with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) that meet weekly on Tuesdays from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Volunteer needed to pick up flowers from Whole Foods in Chapel Hill Wednesdays at 9:00 am and deliver them to classroom in Chapel Hill.
