Remote Volunteer Project Instructions
Select a clean tee-shirt to upcycle. Lay your tee-shirt flat.
Using scissors, carefully cut three-inch strips across the t-shirt, from side to side, up to the sleeves and collar of the t-shirt.
Take six strips of fabric and tie them together in a big knot at one end.
Divide the six fabric strips into three sets with two fabric strips each. Braid the fabric strips together, leaving some room at the end of the braid.
Tie the end of the fabric strips into a big knot.
Pull the two ends of the toy tightly at the knots to make sure it’s secure!
All done? Drop off your dog-toy(s) to Second Chance Pet Adoptions on a Monday – Friday between 11 AM and 5 PM. The address is 6003 Chapel Hill Road, Suite 133, Raleigh NC 27607.
