Remote Volunteer Project: Draw or Paint Pet Portraits!

Remote Volunteer Project: Draw or Paint Pet Portraits!

About The Project

This Remote Volunteer Project helps boost pets in need of their furever homes currently in the care of All Breed Animal Rescue! Volunteers will draw, paint, or digitally create portraits of adoptable pets and send them to the organization to show off the amazing animals who need a home.

Remote Volunteer Project Instructions

Step 1:

Gather your materials. You’ll need paper (or graphic illustration software if you prefer to create a digital drawing.) and things to draw, paint, and color with!

Step 2:

Choose which one of the All Breed Animal Rescue pets in need of adoption you want to draw by viewing their list here. Read about the animal and get to know them so you can capture their personality in your art!

Step 3:

Using the photo, draw or paint your portrait of the pet. It can be as serious or as silly as you want! Shows off your animal’s personality to inspire others to adopt them! Color in your portrait with markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc. Somewhere on your portrait, write why someone should adopt this pet. Include fun facts about the pet from the Pet Profiles page.

Step 4:

Finished? Please take a clear photo of your drawing (or send digital file if created on your computer) and email it to:
