Teens Change The World! Service Club
Activate Good’s year-round service club leads supervised group service projects with teens from around the Triangle. The TCTW! Club engages teens with their community while working with them in potentially smaller group sizes if needed. Teens are invited to participate in as many or as few events as they like, complete any necessary service hours, and invite their friends to join in!

About The Summer Program
Inspired by Activate Good’s Leadership and Service curriculum currently offered in select local high schools, the Teens Change the World! Summer Program is a week-long service and leadership experience that will give teens the opportunity to volunteer, learn about a variety of local causes, hear from social impact experts, and even pitch their ideas for social impact.
Throughout the week-long session, Teens will:
- Earn 15 service hours in one week!
- Learn about a variety of community issues, such as poverty, hunger, and the environment
- Participate in community service projects where they can see what they’re learning in action
- Learn about the role volunteerism plays in making a difference in the community
- Tap into their personal leadership potential and explore their passion for social change
- Get hands-on experience designing their own project for social change and receive feedback and guidance from community leaders and professionals
- Pitch a service project idea for making a difference in the community during a showcase event for the chance to win a small grant to actually execute their project!
Age: High School aged teens (Rising Freshmen through Rising Seniors)
Cost: $300 / teen (*Limited need-based scholarships may be available; please follow instructions on the application page if your household can demonstrate a financial need.)
Lunch and snacks will be provided to participants daily.
We cannot provide transportation. (If your teen needs help with transportation, the Youth GoPass for free local transportation may be a good option.)
Both week-long sessions contain the same programming, however, daily service project locations will vary.
