Volunteers Needed: 3
This project is best for: An individual adult volunteer
Estimated Time Commitment in April 2021: 4-6 hours
Skills Needed: Volunteers with experience or background in Marketing, Branding, Promotions would enjoy this project!
What You’ll Do:Volunteers will review our Volunteer Interest and Internship brochures to provide valuable feedback to enhance the USCRI message. Input can include design, content edits, layouts, etc.
How This Project Helps: Many of USCRI’s services that are provided to clients rely greatly on our ability to get volunteers and interns involved, such as providing ESL instructions, tutoring, being family mentors, delivering food to clients with food insecurity, providing administrative support to staff, managing our social network sites, and so much more. It’s critical for our mission to have powerful brochures to target and attract volunteers and interns to support our cause.
Deadline to Submit Final Project: We are asking that you complete your Virtual Volunteer-A-Thon projects by April 30, 2021
Communication: You’ll hear from Activate Good a few times throughout April to make sure you’re all set and on track!

Estimated Time Commitment in April 2021: 1-3 hours
Skills Needed: Outreach, Writing, Research, Editing
What You’ll Do: Volunteers will review website and social media pages to:
- identify any content that is particularly engaging, inspiring, or compels you to want to learn more about the cause or become involved
- ensure all content is consistent with vision and mission statement
- ensure all links work properly
How This Project Helps: Ship’s ability to serve the community is based solely on donations. This activity will help us understand what type of content is engaging and will capture and hold the attention of potential donors and volunteers
