Activate Good has partnered with the State of North Carolina and VolunteerNC to host a series of Virtual Volunteer Expos -- virtual "volunteer fairs" hosted through Zoom designed to provide information to community members who may be interested in volunteering.

How Virtual Volunteer Expos work

During a Virtual Volunteer Expo, you’ll hear from 5-6 local nonprofits who will each share their organization’s mission, current volunteer needs, and ways you can get involved safely. After hearing from each nonprofit presenter, you’ll have the option of joining Zoom Breakout Rooms to talk more in-depth to the organizations that interest you.

Volunteers are needed now more than ever to help combat food insecurity, homelessness, and more in the Triangle. Join us for a Virtual Volunteer Expo and / or browse all current volunteer needs here.

Invite Your Friends

According to a recent national study, 44% of surveyed Americans say being “unsure how to get involved” is a top barrier to volunteering. (Points of Light 2020)

Share this page and invite others to attend a Virtual Volunteer Expo to help us raise awareness and connect more local community members to big needs around the Triangle!
