The Arc of the Triangle has two garden beds at the HOPE Community Gardens where we grow food for our cooking class and flowers for our Petals with a Purpose program.
Petals with a Purpose is a weekly program with people with and without disabilities. The program uses items destined for the landfill like soup cans, water and glass bottles and they are turned into flower vases.
Use your skills and talents to assist the production team with donations.
Join us for a few minutes or the entire day as we work in the greenhouse, created garden beds and plant seedlings.
This is our first growing season so with your help we will transform the dirt into a beautiful garden.
We have two small ponds on the community minifarm that need some plants and attention. If you have a pond or can bring pond plants to garden you can help create a little pond oasis for everyone to enjoy!
It's time to start the farm gardens! Our little community farm is in need of a 10x10 shed to store the garden tools, mowers and planting supplies.
The hens and baby chicks need a new home! You can help build a fun chicken coop to keep the chickens safe while also being a featured building for families to enjoy.
It's time for planting and volunteer days in the garden! You can help by just getting the word out; collecting tools from friends and neighbors; or even just collecting those dusty items in the garage. Every item helps!
You can help make a home for our local birds and bats on the community farm. The bats are excellent at keeping the mosquitoes under control and the bird houses are to help migratory and local birds.
Help build a Pond Bridge for the community garden. This will be a featured structure of the farm that the entire community can enjoy!
