Martin Luther King Jr. Day isn’t just a date on the calendar. It’s a moment to rise and support neighbors who need a strong start to 2026.
This year, Activate Good honors Dr. King’s legacy with Dignity Week: a week-long call to action focused on education, supporting unhoused neighbors, and addressing food insecurity across the Greater Triangle.
These challenges continue to shape daily life for many families impacted in the last year. Your willingness to step up can help restore stability, confidence, and dignity in the year ahead.
Choose from meaningful opportunities throughout the Triangle, including:
- Improving learning environments in local schools
- Preparing or delivering meals to families experiencing food insecurity
- Supporting community partners serving individuals and families without stable housing
- Participating in neighborhood clean-ups and revitalization efforts
Your Presence Matters
Not just to Activate Good, but to the dozens of Community Partners counting on support during Dignity Week. Local nonprofits and schools are working hard to meet rising needs, and they rely on changemakers like you to keep their programs moving. Volunteer spots fill quickly, and registration is required. Sign up now to secure your place, stand with these partners, and make a direct impact where it’s needed most.
Fuel the Work That Moves Changemakers Into Action
If you believe in the power of people helping people, we invite you to take one more meaningful step during Dignity Week: make a donation to support Activate Good’s mission. Connecting changemakers with the nonprofits, schools, and neighbors who need them most takes real resources.
Without financial support from our community, we cannot continue to offer our free volunteer database used by over 600 organizations or coordinate high-impact projects across the Triangle. Your donation keeps this vital system running and helps local organizations get the hands-on support they depend on every day. To keep this work strong in 2026, we need your support.
