9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance

About the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance

Since 2010, Activate Good has coordinated a Triangle-wide 9/11 Service and Remembrance event to mark the anniversary of September 11, 2001 and honor those lost with volunteer service.

We engage thousands of volunteers to serve the Triangle community through a menu of service projects that benefit a variety of local causes. Projects have ranged from clearing new hiking trails to crafting helpful items for sheltered pets to packaging food for those in need – and much, much more.

My company wants to sponsor the 9/11 Day of Service! What do I do?

That’s amazing, we’re so grateful! The 9/11 Day of Service is Activate Good’s biggest day of service all year, and it takes a lot of coordination (and sometimes materials), so financial support is so helpful and welcomed!

You can find our most up to date sponsor materials here.
