Dignity Week + MLK Day (January 15-23)

Join us for Dignity Week

January 15 - 23, 2021

Help us help local families

Dignity Week is an extended week of service running January 15 through 23, which includes the national annual MLK Day of Service on January 18. The week will feature opportunities for locals to volunteer safely in-person or remotely, and will have a special focus on opportunities to support causes serving families in need.

Dignity Week and MLK Day of Service 2021 volunteer opportunities include projects like packing diapers with the Diaper Bank, building fencing for a community center, maintaining a community garden, assembling literacy kits for teachers, leading a supply drive remotely, and more.

Thanks to our Dignity Week sponsor!

Dignity Week is proudly sponsored by Allscripts, who is providing support to create 380 dignity bags, packages including hygiene and cleaning supplies for families who have had to choose between these items and putting food on their tables over the past year.

Volunteers are needed now more than ever to help combat food insecurity, homelessness, and more in the Triangle. Join us for a Dignity Week, January 15-23, 2021.

Invite Your Friends

According to a recent national study, 44% of surveyed Americans say being “unsure how to get involved” is a top barrier to volunteering. (Points of Light 2020)
